Polygon Madness

I wanted to push myself to learn how to do that polygon style that was really popular a while back (2012ish). So, back in 2012 I decided to make a bird a day. Sometimes, I got tired of birds so I threw in a cat or two. I picked birds because they’re colorful and there’s an abundance of them. It made sense at the time. I’m still really proud of them. This was done by taking the original photos into Photoshop, bumping up the contrast and colors then taking it into Illustrator and outlining. It’s pretty much that. You outline and remove shapes until you can see the shape. Less is more, am I right?
